I want to emulate Merry Alpern for my next project, particularly her series "Dirty Windows" from 1994. I like the idea of taking the voyeuristic nature of photography to a more intentionally invasive level. While I won't be photographing strippers in a bathroom (an inherently heavier subject matter), I think I can still get at a similar sentiment by photographing people in practice rooms and scholarly rooms while they aren't (or are) looking.
